Peter Okyere, a native of Nyinahin who travelled to Sefwi Bekwai to engage in illegal mining, is appealing to the public for financial support after a sudden health crisis left him seriously injured.

Speaking on Ahenfie Nkommo, hosted by Oheneni Adazoa, Peter said he recently had a confrontation with a friend over money the friend allegedly took from him without his knowledge. The two later resolved their differences and settled the matter.

A few days later, Peter fell ill and was taken to the hospital for treatment. After he was discharged, he returned home and went to bed.

According to Peter, he suddenly became restless during the night and began fighting with his house neighbour. People who noticed his unusual behaviour quickly intervened and managed to overpower him.

However, after he was left alone, Peter's behaviour reportedly became abnormal again. In that state, he picked up a knife and seriously injured himself, resulting in the loss of his genitals.

Peter was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he is receiving treatment. He says he continues to experience severe pain and is struggling to raise money to settle his medical bills.

To verify Peter's account, the host invited Nana Mensah Abrampa panel member to assess the situation. He later confirmed that Peter had indeed lost his genitals.

Peter is therefore appealing to viewers and listeners of Ahenfie TV and Radio, as well as the general public, to come to his aid and support him with his medical expenses.
